Marc Baum, PhD, is the President of Oak Crest Institute of Science and Visiting Associate at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, CA. His PhD in Organic Chemistry was granted by the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in London, England. He has experience both in academia and in small business, having been Director of Research and Development at Air Instruments & Measurements Inc. He has developed novel spectroscopically based analysis instruments for bedside ICU monitoring.
